Hey there,
I'm just getting into VDJ and come from a rotary mixer background and still use a Urei 1620 LE. Has anyone ever created a skin like this mixer?
I think just a basic pair of Technics 1200's with this mixer would be a great skin, of course not all 6 channels would be used for mixing but at least it would make an interesting addition to the skin library! Or even a mixer like the E&S DJR 400 would be nice with a pair of turntables/ cd decks.

What do you guys think?
Peace,
CJ Branda.

The problem with rotationary knobs in skins is that it takes more time to turn them around, than moving up and down a slider.

Yeah that's right - just like the real thing which gives you (in my opinion) more control and a smoother mix. Rotary's are pretty basic so I was wondering if any one had made a skin for one. They look good too! Anyway thanks for your reply ;).
