Topic: how do i edit mac skins?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

or if I buy the full version.. will there be other mac skins available for download? I want to disable computer-aided mixing, when i want, to help me learn how to mix. thanks. If someone could tell me how to edit the default skin, that would be great... on pc its too easy. cheers

Nearly all skins for PC are compatible with Mac when you buy the full version.

I wrote nearly, because not all skins have been made available with a dmg installer.
But in any case, if you download the skin with a PC or in bootcamp, you will then be able to use it in VDJ for MAC.

You need to purchase the full CUE or VDJ.

not true..suckup. 'error line 0 in xml' when pc skin chosen, or when default skin unzipped and re-zipped. With the PC demo this was not the case. I doubt this has to do w/ registration. Don't know weather to get the pc or mac version. Do I get one install per reg? or can i install on mac and pc?

You cannot get mac skins without a licence end of story.

Hope to see you as a registered user soon.

thanks. I just noticed other threads that registered users had the same problems. I'd rather get the mac version then the pc version. Just wanting to know if I could work these kinks out... cheers

Ya seriously, it seems that half the users on this forum are unregistered users. If you want the benefits of the software then purchase the full version and stop asking why you can't do this and can't do that.
