Sadly, not possible.
I think it has been requested once under new features, because lots of people don't really need to see more than 1 or 2 beats that already went through, and this way you could gain a longer view on the upcoming beats on the same space.
It's possible to do a workaround though, make the waveform xml larger than the actually graphics display, but you will have some unusable space on the skin where the waveform isn't visible, and it also means that you can't have "the marker" on the leftmost of the skin.
