So now for over a year, I've been on Virtual DJ and have not touched Serato since. Once upon a time I thought VDJ to be more or less a 'toy', however, I was very wrong. With VDJ 7, I was still not impressed, but in all fairness, I have to look at the time-frame it was in. One main reason I looked for an alternative to Serato DJ was the fact that Serato Video has been broken for many years and pretty much unusable for Windows users for at least 10 years. It is also dependent on Apple's Quicktime which has serious security flaws and has been discontinued for years. Even Mac users have to use Mixemergency to use video. Point being, VDJ video just simply works with no argument. I use a Rane Four and VDJ works perfectly with it. In every scenario VDJ has performed to my expectations and beyond. Yes, there is a learning curve to the switch but its well worth the effort. I ended up rebuilding my crates into Lists in VDJ, again, well worth the effort! I modified the Performer Skin with advanced menus to help me along with settings.
Thanks to VDJ in stepping up and mapping controllers and just making a versatile product. By the way, the Stems 2.0 smokes Serato's in every way especially the Stem FX! I will be purchasing the Infinity License! So Serato users, give VDJ a chance and you wont be disappointed!

Hi
I did the same three years ago and never regret it (despite I still have a Serato Copy up to date on mys computer).
I found VDJ has mor fun that my former SERATO, and keep going forward regularly. The only thing I need now is to improve the grids perhaps Fluid beatgrid Like in DJay pro.
Wel done Atomix
