Topic: [MAC] Latency issue I can't solve.

I've noticed for awhile that VDJ8 is having some sort of latency issue on my mac. When I first start the software there's like 0 latency and then after about a minute mixing I start to notice a half a second lag. It's very noticeable when using the microphone and it messes up my perception when I speak. I've tried messing around with the configuration and it doesn't seem to effect anything. My CPU seems to barely hit the second bar and I'm sure it's not an issue with my mac. Any suggestions?

(Mid 2013) Retina MacBook Pro
10.12 (Sierra)
i7 2.3Ghz Quadcore
16GB RAM
nVidia 750M 2GB DDR5
512GB SSD

Also another problem (and I think it's a bug) when I enable pitchLock in settings it disables after you load a new song,
