Topic: var_list not reporting

var_list appears but doesn't show any vars.

Is it just me/

I just set a keyboard shortcut up for Shift+L

I set the action as var_list

When I press the keystroke, I get a popup window, but it has a tiny yellow triangle in it with and ! point.

No data is being shown for me either. Assuming I used it correctly.

Windows 10 - VDJ 8.2 b3291

This is a nice feature , mostly for trouble-shooting and works as expected here.
Yes i get the triangle too, but also get the variables i have used. My guess is that a variable gets in the list once modified for the first time.
 
var_list is also working for me too :)

I thought that too. But it still doesn't show anything.

I have Oninit for my controller setup to set a variable to 1. Also, if I press Shift on my controller and press a button, it's supposed to set the $shift variable to 1. The function works as expected, just nothing is displayed in the var_list box.
 
not happening here,

running repeat_start_instant '1234' 33ms & cycle 'qwerty' 100000

and only getting full height window with the triangle, I'll try a 8,1 build

tried 2857 [last 8,1] and it worked, tried 3286 [first public 8,2] failed

WINDOWS 10 also

edit running thru betas 2870 works
 
last working beta 2943

problem starts with 2947
 
I get a blank window as shown above too. 3311. No triangle thus.
