Hi all when i minimise vdj8.2 or 8.1 and take it back out of being minimised by going to the windows task bar and hovering over the vdj8.2 icon that enlarges on the task bar and shows vdj current state, as its hovering the second monitor turns off and shows windows desktop picture, it comes back on when icon is clicked but its annoying when someone is singing on karaoke as for the second or so the icon is hovered the words disapear lol.......I have windows 10 latest updates Toshiba laptop i5 NVidia card 16 gig ram

If you hover over the application preview on taskbar then Windows will hide anything else besides the monitored application.
That's how Windows work and there are not many things you can do to override that.
I would recommend you to restore / minimize the main application window instead of hovering it's preview in order to see it's state.
BTW:
Why do you need to minimize the main window in the first place ?

It is easy to turn off in Windows if required.

In Windows 10 it is simply called 'Peek' and can be found in almost the same location (right-click windows button, system, advanced system settings, performance settings, 'enable peek' check box)

Thanks for the replys ill try turning the aero peek off , I wasn't trying to get the state I was trying to maximise the window again but as windows shows both icons in the toolbar on top of each other I had to hover to see which one was virtual dj and which was its video output, I think it may be a NVidia problem though as I used a house system tonight at one of my regular venues their laptop has intel hd card and lower spec i3 with 8 gig ram and windows 10 all updates and it does not show a blank desktop with no icons on like the output does on my system when virtual dj program not video output icon in hovered on weird lol.....I was only minimising as was downloading a request track from xtendamix as didn't currently have on my system

Hi I have tried on a friends system which is running a intel only output video card in their laptop and the output screen does not disappear to the desktop is the problem a NVidia thing ...is anyone else having this problem where as when you minimise virtual dj with a video on extended desktop and when you try to in minimise on the windows toolbar it then whilst you have the mouse over the virtual dj icon it goes to desktop on tv output , it doesn't on my friends who has intel only output
