I just press the beatlock button twice... once matches the beats, 2nd time shuts off beatlock, but leaves it matched....

Yes do it. It makes two clicks but it'll make it.

I will try that, thanks

If you like to press a shortcut only once, there is a trick posted in the forum earlier:
Create a new shortcut for example the g button link this button to beatmatch. Add then another shortcut set also as button g and also beatmatch as action.

I use Ricks way to.

yes 2 clicks for me also

I have never seen a CD deck that starts when you press match.

It is good for MOUSE DJ's but for controller DJ's It's terrible!

please please consider adding OPTION to shut this off -or- a better idea

"if controller is active and connected, then shut off the auto-start when pressing match"

I've never seen a cd player with a "match" button.

:-)

Good point! LOL :)

DJ Rick: LOL! :)

Numark CD decks that have a match feature called "Beat Sync".

Correction: It is technically called "Interlock"

You guys need to get out more often. The Numark CDN-88 (old news) has a "A built in Beatkeeperā„¢ with Interlockā„¢ function can align all cue points, make perfect loops, and, if you choose, automatically lock both players together on the beat."

In plain english, that means MATCH. and guess what? it does NOT start the deck playing as Virtual DJ does. I have used the CDN-88 in nightclubs and at mobile gigs.

well Mr Wireless DJ if you use the correct terms to start with people MAY understand!

You're right, I should have elaborated in the initial email.

LOL... actually I wasn't aware of any similar feature being available on any CD player.
sounds cool! Makes my DENON 2600 seem obsolete.
