I wanna make my first skin but i wanna know what do you skin pros use to get all the different types of buttons on the skin or what program you guys use to make your bmp file? I have the skin creator i just wanna know how to get all the graphics for the bmp file. Thanx!

Photoshop is excellent for making buttons and they are quite easy to produce, google "make buttons in photoshop" is a good starting point.

Just a thought so I don't know if any of the skin guys would be interested, I did a basic step by step on "how to build a web site" sometime back, seems like a good opportunity if the interest is there on a "how to make a skin" tutorial, just the basics, nothing elaborate, that is if the skinners have the time.
Actually wouldn't mind finding out about the dark art myself... lol.
