I'm trying to but it keeps wanting to load the next song into deck 2....

I've tried nbdecks="1" but that doesn't seem to do it.... just crashes vdj

What do you mean by that ? How do you load your songs?
Just replace action..load .. with deck 1 load

nbdecks="1" will always make VirtualDJ crash.

use nbdecks="2" in your skin but only display graphics for 1 deck.
