Topic: plugin for dummies like me

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I just got the program yesterday. do I do the setup then I make a folder called C:Program FilesVirtualDJ I add the spv files into the folder and the visuals should work? They don't work for me. I also checked the box in config that says show video plugin but the section is blank I have no video effect folder when I start

the visuals should be in the folder called "visual effects", a subfolder to your Virtual dj folder
 
I dont have it should I reinstall?

would try a reinstall, yes :)
 
ok maybe its the way I am installing it because now I dont see a folder in my programs just a icon on the start button
