I have read on a previously closed post, sorry that does not explain it for me. I have imported files video files which i have created with an alpha channels and i don't see any difference in the effect from a regular video file. I was hoping to be able to scratch on deck 1-a character pulled from a greenscreen rendered as a video file with an alpha channel. While I have a background playing on deck 2 that this character is composited over. Unfortunately all I get is some blending opacity overlay effect. Could somebody please point me in the right direction or tell me that I am dreaming,
Thanks
Thanks

Unfortunately VDJ does not support alpha channels...i guess its a Direct X thing. Maybe in newer versions.
I have in the past actually thought about doing what you just described, maybe if i find a solution, il let you know... :)
