Hi all, does anybody have some info about data that VDJ provides when using plugin in fft mode.
I managed to create what i wanted but I have just a little idea of what are the provided values for.
The comments in dev area and in the header file are just telling it return I... and Re....
What are theese ?
I thought that when I have timeframe set of 44100 samples
then VDJ provides me back with buffer coresponding fo each occurence(frequency)
so at start of the buffer there's value for 1hz at the end for 22050 hz.
Now i am a little confused.
What are theese Values, and what's their range.

If I'm not wrong, you can choose the range.
And yes, it's frequencies, but in complexe format (imaginary and reel).

Oh when I was debugging I found out that the range must be 2^n
so 44100 is nt possible just 65536 and that makes VDJ to skip so I used 8192 as a buffer size.
Ooh the complex one, I overlooked a text. Thanks a lot now it's more clear.

the buffer size for FFT was 4096 by default

so you recommend to change it ? :-)
and again recount the values (devide by 2)
so the 8191st value is for the frequency 44100 now ...
anyway i found out recommended values for riaa (but other software than vdj) to be 8192
