Is there anyone who can give me a brief description of how this works and a program which is easy to use.
I've been given a few addresses for mp3's and they dont seem be working or Im not too good at working the programs!

the client is a program which 'knows' the ftp protocol, it connects to ftp servers and it can download / upload files. some ftp servers require logins or some upload / download ratios. like: for 2 megs uploaded you get the right to dload 4 megs.

Your best bet is Flash FTP, it's easiest to use out of all of them i reckon if you dont know how to upload/download.
