I have heard there are these mashups out there that take all the new and older dance songs that will play for hours. SO basically taking bits and pieces out of songs and putting it all together into one nice megamix mashup. My question is who sells them? and don't say youtube b/c I'm not using downloaded youtube stuff.
Ideas?

Just search for megamix on Google.. lots of sites that have.
Often though they are made by djs and a bit of "bootleg" (aka not sold).
But you can find quite a few on https://soundcloud.com/search?q=megamix

A.K.A illegal. I think it would be better to point the user towards some legal options, such as the world famous DMC (Disco Mix Club) actively making mixes for DJs since 1983 - www.dmcdownload.com
In the UK there is also Mastermix at mastermixdj.com

its not illegal on soundcloud. They pay the royalties for them
And have auto detection of songs used

It's illegal for someone to record a medley of songs (or remix etc) to which they do own the copyright, or have permission from the artist or label. It's even more illegal for that person to then share that recording, whether that's by uploading it to a website or by other means.

"ensure that you don’t use anything created by anyone else"
etc. etc.

For safe and quality tracks go to ZipDJ. It isn't free but the community you join is well worth the price paid and will elevate your sets to the next level. Ive also used BPM Supreme but wasn't thrilled with the audio quality or music selection
