I almost always mix two songs by first beatmatching them and then gradually autoreset the bpm to the next song. It usually sounds very good even when bpm difference is quite big between two songs. There is just one problem. When ie. current playing song A is 75 BPM and next song B is 100 BPM, I would match them by making song B to first match to 75 BPM and then gradually reset it back to 100 BPM. The problem is that when I push the beatmatch button - it will put song B up to 150 BPM and then goes gradually down to 108 BPM. That just sounds awful compared to that it would go 75 bpm and up. How to change this behaviour to automix always to the normal BPM and never try to double it?
Well I undestand that it's reasonable to mix 75 BPM song and 145 BPM song to match the latter to 150 BPM. But when It's 100 BPM, it really should match it down to 75
