You'll need to be logged in as a pro user, then you go to the Master section > Effect selector > Autostart > Lock8 and click the cog.
Alternatively you can map a custom button to the command above and the first time you hit it you'll be asked to choose a password. Subsequent hits will lock VDJ.
I may add MIDI controller locking at a later date.

Hi there, I’m having difficulty setting up lock 8 in VDJ 8. Firstly I’n unable to change the password as I don’t know what the default password in. Secondly I’m just a little unsure of how to map a keyboard shortcut. Any help would be great thanks!
