DN-MC6000 Enhanced Controller Mapper v8.0
Enhanced Controller Mapper for the DN-MC6000. VirtualDJ v8 supports (3-1L | R2-4) and (1-2L | R3-4) mixer configurations. This mapper is designed to work with the native DN-MC6000 definition file.
Mapper function control layout:
Section: FX Panels
It has 4 modes each which can be cycled through using the SHIFT + FX2 button on each deck:
- Mode 1, FX2 Led OFF, FX panel (default/factory panel):
- FX Knob 1: Effect Select knob
- FX Knob 2: Effect Parameter 1 knob; w/SHIFT: Parameter 3 knob
- FX Knob 3: Effect Parameter 2 knob; w/SHIFT: Parameter 4 knob
- FX Knob 4: Filter knob; w/SHIFT: Default Sampler Volume
- EFX.1 Btn: Effect Active button
- EFX.2 Btn: Effect Parameter 1 button; w/SHIFT: Parameter 3 button
- EFX.3 Btn: Effect Parameter 2 button; w/SHIFT: Parameter 4 button
- EFX.4 Btn: Filter Active; w/SHIFT: Default Sampler Play/Stop
- Mode 2, FX2 Led BLINK, SAMPLER panel:
- FX Knob 1: Sampler Select knob
- FX Knob 2: Sampler Bank knob

- EFX.1 Btn: Loop Roll 1/8th beat; w/SHIFT: Loop Roll 1/8th beat while pressed

- EFX.3 Btn: Loop Roll 1/2th beat; w/SHIFT: Loop Roll 1/2th beat while pressed

- FX Knob 1: (unassigned)

- EFX.1 Btn: Slice 1:4
- EFX.2 Btn: Slice 2:4
- EFX.3 Btn: Slice 3:4
- EFX.4 Btn: Slice 4:4
Section: FX1/FX2 (FX buttons by the DECK CHG. button)
- FX1: Fire Flanger effect; w/SHIFT: Toggle SLIP_MODE (besides FX1 being lit up, all 4 EFX buttons will BLINK while SLIP MODE is active and the FX Panel in mode 1)
- FX2: Fire BeatGrid effect; w/SHIFT: Cycle through the FX Panel 4 modes (LED indicators: Mode 1 (default): OFF, Mode 2: BLINK, Mode 3: BLINKFAST, Mode 4: ON)
Section: Loop Controls
- "Shift + LOOP IN" - Reloop your last active loop.
- "Shift + LOOP OUT" - Loop Roll exit (when on a Manual/Auto loop, exit the loop to the point in the track where it would have been should you not have triggered the loop)
(useful when you want to apply SLIP MODE to a loop without turning SLIP_MODE ON in the Deck)
Section: Mixer Controls
- When activating a channel's PFL it also makes it the active deck.
- "Shift + Ch(x) PFL CUE" - This will UNLOAD the specific deck.
Section: Deck Transport Controls
- "Shift + CUE (hold for .5 seconds & release)" - Toggle PROTECTED CUE mode (see additional info below)
- "Shift + PLAY (hold for .5 seconds & release)" - "Go to track's 1st beat and pause deck"
- "Shift + CUE" - Toggles SMART CUE ON/OFF (while pressing SHIFT on the controller the CUE button indicator will FASTBLINK when smart_cue is ON)
- "Shift + PLAY" - Toggles SMART PLAY ON/OFF (while pressing SHIFT on the controller the PLAY/PAUSE button indicator will FASTBLINK when smart_play is ON)
Section: All other sections
- The rest of the buttons and sliders follow their factory configuration.

Version 8.1 changes:
- Corrected some name changes on the effects so that they trigger correctly
- Added BROWSER ZOOM function to the TRACK SEL. push button, usuable with the DN-MC6000 Pro+ v8 skin
- MIXER/VIDEO/SCRATCH buttons now linked to the DN-MC6000 Pro+ v8 skin
- CF MODE button now linked to the DN-MC6000 Pro+ v8 skin
- Cleaned up the functions on the Browse/Sample/EFX/Record buttons

I own 2 mc6000s and I love them but... When I play tracks every button flashes to the beat. It is annoying... Is the a fix for this. Both do it... On 4 different laptops. Please help me out if you can.
