Can someone tell me how to install directx 9.0?
If you are running windows 7 it installs direct 11.0 which is part of the operating system. If you try installing 9.0 it will tell you, you have a more current version and don't need to install. And according to Microsofts page, you can not uninstall directx as it is part of the operating system.
Therefore I can not get any of the plugins to work - and I have tried everything

Go to the top of the plugin page where it says FAQ and at top of the list it will give you all the links to get you up and going.
I'd start at top and work through the links to dx9 etc.
