I've been searching everywhere on here and it seems like no one knows the original default pattern.
If someone does know I would appreciate it so very much.
Thanks in advanced!
Added by SBDJ for clarity:
This is the original Beatgrid preset 1 which is what most people will want:
D=DOWN
U=UP
DDDD UUUU UUUU UUUU
UUUU DUDD UUUU UUUU
UUUU UUUU DUDU UUUU
UUUU UUUU UUUU DUUU
Failing that BeatGrid.ini should look like this:

Just delete beatgrid.ini from the SoundEffect plugins folder whilst VDJ isn't running.

Didn't help. I just really want the original config as one of my beat presets.

while we are on the topic of the beatgrid, Is it possible to map the pattern buttons off the effect to a key eg.
deck 1 effect 'beatgrid' active & effect 'beatgrid' pattern 2
I know you can map sliders, but not sure about buttons
Cheers

Sorry, this is not possible.
Beatgrid uses a custom GUI and does not support MIDI mapping (Except for turning the effect on/off.)

Im not completely sure about this, but i think you could make a copy of the beatgrid dll file in the plugins folder, that way making virtualDJ see the two files as two different plugins, with different settings. That way you can have two different patterns, and map each to a button. Not 100% sure this would work though..

Click on the MICRO-GRID button (Effect page->Sound effect tab->beatgrid)

It transpires Preset1 was missing from my beatgrid.ini. You should be able to select the grid options as described above and when happy save the options using the small circular buttons on the right - most of us will just want to use the upper right button.
Alternatively you can copy the text below into your beatgrid.ini file....

how is huey being a jerk? he simply said what the poster should have figured out from reading the post, the question is why did you feel the need to bump a thread that was dormant for a month, and not add anything to the topic..

Indeed.
It also has nothing to do with the person who posted that comment.
The information requested is in this thread, so I will highlight it better and then lock this thread and it can serve as reference.
