Topic: How can I move the 1st downbeat?

I just bought a Hercules RMX and am totally new to Virtual DJ. After analyzing a song, VDJ often puts the downbeat marker before the very first downbeat. I've tried a number of things but can't seem to be able to move the wide beat marker to the right position. Is there a way to do this?

In the browser, after loading the song in a "deck", right click on the song desired. Scroll down to BPM, then select manual edit. A separate window will appear. You will se Phase, under Phase is a slider..try moving it until the CGBs align the way you wish.

Even an old dog can learn new tricks. I've had VDJ for Years and never knew how to solve that problem. Thanks!

Or you could left click the "BPM" (just above the hot cues) to set the down beat, (you could map a button but it's best to do this kind of thing when you first try out a track in vdj i.e. during practice)
