SETUP



Step 1. Connections


Connect the MIXTOUR PRO with your computer using the provided USB C cable. Connect your Headphones to the front socket of the MIXTOUR PRO and your amplifier/amplified speakers to the Master Out socket at the rear side using an RCA cable.
A USB C Power adaptor is optional.



Step 2. Drivers


Windows : Install the Reloop ASIO* drivers from https://www.reloop.com/reloop-mixtour-pro
Mac OSX : No drivers installation is required

*The Reloop ASIO Drivers are optional. VirtualDJ will use the native Windows WASAPI drivers if not installed, without any operational issue.

Step 3. VirtualDJ


Install VirtualDJ 8 from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/index.html (in case you have not done already)

Start VirtualDJ and login with your Account credentials. A Pro Infinity, Pro Subscription or Plus Controller License is required.

Detection Window
Click to “Use Soundcard”. VirtualDJ will automatically create the necessary audio configuration.

S SHIFT
Press this button down to access secondary actions as described in the SHIFT ACTION column
M MODE
Press this button down to access third actions as described in the MODE ACTION column.
If you release the button without pressing any other button to engage a shortcut, then the pad section of the unit will switch to the side you pressed the MODE button on.
1 MONO/STEREO
Toggles the sound between STEREO and MONO. The sound will change on BOTH the headphones and the master output.
2 CROSSFADER
Blends the audio between left and right channels
3 VOLUME
Adjusts the channel volume
4 CUE
Sets, triggers and previews the temporary CUE
Slows down the track temporarily while playing (Pitch Bend). If not playing, it will move the current playback position (needle)
Decreases the Key of the track by one Semitone
5 PLAY
Plays/Pauses the track
Speeds up the track temporarily while playing (Pitch Bend). If not playing, it will move the current playback position (needle)
Increases the Key of the track by one Semitone
6 LOOP
Press the button once to set a loop-in point (for manual looping). Press the button a second time to set a loop-out point and start the loop. While in loop, press this button to exit the loop.
Toggles on/off an automatic loop. The length of the auto loop (in beats) is visible in the VirtualDJ GUI.
Halves the size of the current loop (if the track is looping) or the size of the auto loop.
7 SYNC
Syncs the track's tempo and phase with opposite deck
Press once to change the track's key by up to 2 semitones in order to become compatible with the other deck. Press a second time to reset the key back to it's original value.
Doubles the size of the current loop (if the track is looping) or the size of the auto loop.
8 PFL
Sends the deck's audio signal to the Headphones Channel
Press these buttons to select one of three available "mix effects" that can be used when crossfading between the tracks:
Both LEDs off: No MixFx
Left LED on : Filter
Right LED on : Loop Roll
Both LEDs on : Echo Out
9 FX PADDLE
Activates the effect that's selected on the first effect slot on the VirtualDJ GUI.
Activates a backspin effect
10 FX DRY/WET
Controls the first effect parameter of the effect that's selected on the first effect slot on the VirtualDJ GUI
SHIFTED
11 FX PARAM
Adjusts the length (in beats) for beat-aware effects.
Select the previous/next available effect for the first effect slot on the VirtualDJ GUI.
12 FILTER
Controls the selected Color Effect for the channel. The default Color Effect is "Filter". You can choose different Color Effects from the VirtualDJ GUI.
13 EQ LOW
Adjusts the low (bass) frequencies, or the corresponding stems according to the selected EQ Mode.
14 EQ MID
Adjusts the middle (mid) frequencies, or the corresponding stems according to the selected EQ Mode.
15 EQ HI
Adjusts the high (tremble) frequencies, or the corresponding stems according to the selected EQ Mode.
16 GAIN
Adjusts the pre-fader output level (Gain)
17 STEMS EQ
Toggles the operation of the three EQ knobs between "Frequency" control and "Stems" control.
When in "Frequency" mode, the button's led will be off, and the three knobs will control low, middle and high frequencies in a traditional 3 band equalizer manner.
When in "Stems" mode, the button's led will be on, and the three knobs will control stem channels, depending on the selected EQ Mode.
You can change the desired EQ Mode from VirtualDJ GUI.
18 LOAD
Loads the selected track on browser to the deck.
If the focus is on folders, switches the focus back on songs.
Double click clones the tracks from the other deck.
Switches left side between decks 1 & 3, and right side between decks 2 & 4.
19 BROWSE
Turn: Scrolls through tracks and folders in VirtualDJ's browser.
Push: Switches focus on folders, and opens/closes subfolders. If held down briefly, switches focus back to songs.
Turn: Switches the selected sideview tab.
Push: Switches focus between sideview and songs.
Turn: Seeks through the track
20 SPLIT
Splits the pads to a dual view, so that pads 1-4 are assigned to left deck, and pads 5-8 are assigned to the right deck.
21 PADS
Performance RGB Pads. Operation depends on the selected Pads mode (Pads page)

22 MASTER VOL
Adjusts the volume of the Master Output channel.

23 PHONES VOL
Adjusts the volume of the Headphones Output channel.
Hardware operation, but visible in VirtualDJ GUI
24 PHONES MIX
Blends audio signal sent to headphones between Headphones channel (minimum position) and Master channel (maximum position).
