Hi !
I have an updated version of this skin !
I'm not familiar at all making skins but i tried to make
some changes to existing skins, just for practice.
The Pionner cdj700 is a very complete skin but i found it
somehow confusing and overloaded,
so i changed some fonts-colors, by editing both the xml and the bmp file.
I believe that some of these changes will be usefull for the
"official" version of the skin.
I wanted to make a more "user friendly" version.
Here is a preview only of the skin.
Take a look.

Some of the changes:
-Easy to see- the most usefull informations/controls:
loop (orange)/ fx (red), play (transparent green)
butons.
-colored (green/red) and bigger timers (the most usefull of them) gray and small the not so usefull.
-Not Easy to see- the not so "usefull" information to avoid
confusing... after 2 beers :
gray some timers and buttons (was all white before)
And a change not visible, i changed the pannel id's of the
3 basic pannels from 5,6,7 to 41,42,43 to make it compatible
with the default skin (same keyboard shortcuts if there is any)
I tried it with 2.02 demo and is compatible.
Fruit let me know where to send you the skin, and if you use
corel draw11 i can send you the .cdr file with all the components i' ve added.
Any comments are welcome.

it is almost perfect now, the colors are "smooth" and as you
will see the decks are not black anymore...

Tested in darkness apopsis and I like it very much. Good work. I think that FRUiT would apreciate this adapation.

Wow this skins been made for use inside a tunnel.., any train dj's here?, hehe.
It reminds me of that episode of "only fools and horses", where they paint their mothers grave stone in luminus paint, and it's brighter than anything you've seen.
It's a nice modification to the skin ;).

Sorry for the delay, i was out of town and away from
internet connection (and this forum) next week, and i will be again for this weekend.
The good news are that in the meantime i have finished the skin, the version you all have is a "beta"...
Some changes are:
I re-order the timers so they are now displayed
in a more logical way, also there is now a comment field
in the place of real time bpm (was designed for atomixmp3,
but not used by vdj), even better colors, smoother colors
of the playlist buttons, etc..
The are now 3 black versions (dark-normal-bright) and also
a green and a blue version.
(so you can ... match the colors/brightness of the screen with the lights and colors of the club you're working ....!)
Well i'll see if i can post the "skin-pack" to this site next week,
and if i have the time i will write a "what's new" text, starting
a new post in the skins forum.
