Having a problem running the countdown. Trying to activate the video effect and I get "Application failed to start because d3dx9_42.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
Tried installing the pluin again, but same problem. I'm running VDJ 6.0.3
Thanks.

I believe that may be a DirectX 9 error. You may need to download and install the latest DirectX 9c package
Try here mate

Sleep? I've been at work all day, and am at my venue for tonight now. Just collating their DMX addresses so I can control the lights myself rather than use their preset programming ;)
From the comments I assume that means it will do for people for tonight?

Hi Scott
Everything went perfect at my new years gig last night and your plugin worked very well.
I practise with it at home before the gig to set it up and situate the clock timers on screen all that worked easily, but was not able to save my settings.
I got to the gig and I had to set it up again with a small monitor in the DJ booth before I connected to all the other club monitors, no big deal since you made it so very easy to setup, but it would be nice to be able to save the settings once you got it right.
Can you please make a save settings option in your plugin?
Thank You for a Great Job.

As its getting to that time again, for those looking for this.... here it is.
For the next release it would be awesome if the settings were saved each time like slideshow. Also unsure of what the checkboxes are, as they are showing at the bottom of the plugin window, scattered with no labels. (on my system)
Plugin has been stable for me everytime Ive used it.

Hello tzonekev,
Here is the d3dx9_42,dll : [Link to unofficial 3rd party download site removed] download it and then extract the downloaded zip file to the system32 folder which is located in windows folder (that is located in your main drive which contains the installed windows)

It's better to install the proper official and most recent version of Microsoft DirectX 9c:

Also, you will need to purchase VirtualDJ Professional to be able to download add-ons: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
