As it stands at the moment the major features are:

New GUI using context menus rather than tabs to give enlarged message list area.
Each message can have it's own complete layout and format (everything in the message formatting window) which is inherited from your predefined default. The default can be updated from a message or reapplied to a message too.
Background box has different drawing animation methods.
SMS integration via connected device eg mobile or USB stick.
New message indication on VDJ skin or controller.
Macros now support VDJScript - both to get data and to issue commands (to activate FX or sample when a certain message is displayed for example).
Message list can be scrolled and messages toggled via VDJScript.
Per-vertex colouring with configurable vertex count.
Random colours can be cycled continuously or per message run.
There will be 3 editions of this plugin - a free lite version with limitations, the full version and the full + SMS version.
I've still got some work to do - loading/saving and background box animations have to be done. Everything else though is working though - including the SMS. Future versions will include enhanced SMS functionality - number collation, nickname registration, polls and so on.

Looks very cool!
I like the ability to trigger effects based on a message.
That has a lot of possibilities. I guess it's time to learn VDJscript. If you could also include some examples of said script that would be great.

Plenty of examples available, and I'll put some up too.
It won't be expensive at all - and it won't be tied to an IMEI for SMS users either.

Yeah Scott, We need a Load file option box or tab, maybe several with a check box to pick among them would be good, this way the default file will load on plugin activation...ScrollText, & DJ Cel Text2D...

At present the new version continually autosaves at every change, and this file is loaded on startup too.

So basically it reloads what ever was save from the previous activation.?
If this is what it does, then we need to have a load option tab with boxes where other files can be stored for different venues on activation... just click and check the box with the file name you need the plugin to open on activation or switch too it....
