Hi Scott , just read your post....Am i missing it or is there something about the key lock ?? I had made a request to have it remain as a key lock instead od something else it did (don't remember what it did now..) in your earlier version ??
Also whilst reading the forum i learn that the 5.2 has been released....any problem using your new update with that ?

The reason keylock changed was because you aren't using my mapper any more.

New mapper works fine with 5.2...

hey SBDJ,

Perhaps i'm just retarded...i can't get the mapper working. basic XP laptop with VDJ 5.7 and I stuck the mapper .dll in the plugins controller folder thingy...did i do something wrong?

My mapper will only work with Virtual DJ Professional, and is only downloadable by registered users.

My first port of call would be to register your copy of Virtual DJ, then download the latest proper version from this site.

I would also consider upgrading to 5.1/5.2 when my new version is released.

Sorry guys, I've been trying to get the latest Xponent drivers (5112v4) since about 9pm to install on my dev machine, but M-Audio's website has been down all this time. I lie, it came up briefly, but had database issues and all downloads were broken.

Until I can get theses drivers, I can't do anything as I can't test on my dev PC, or my dev Mac.

I've added user configurable options for Christmas Tree and Skip Beat as requested.

M-Audios site is finally back up, so I have the drivers now... should be releasing the new version soon as long as there are no issues I find under testing...

Well v1.10 is just about ready for release, I've made some small tweaks which mean I need to recompile on the Mac tomorrow, but it should be ready for release tomorrow. Current changelog:


1.10: IMPORTANT: Update For Virtual DJ v5.2, not tested with previous versions!
Implement Christmas lighting mode
Implement VU meters
Implement progress meters
Implement user option for Christmas lighting mode
Implement user option for (-) load, or (x) load
Implement user option for full transform, or half transform (shift performs opposite)
Implement user option to switch between smart_seek and skip_beat
Implement user option to switch between sample recording loop or jingle
Implement spinback in scratch mode
Shift+Cue now sets cue point 1
Shift+HOtcue now sets relevant cue point
Shift+Kill Button now performs temporary kill until release
Pitch Bend buttons now use 256 as bend value, with 512 available with shift
Shift+Sync now toggles beatlock
Shift+Keylock now resets key offset
<< and >> can now use either skip_beat or smart_seek
Change Effect Button and Pot mapping
Change initialisation indicator
Fix multiple gain kill issue
Fix music pause when browsing with jogwheel in scratch mode
Lots of small changes for variable initialisation/management and cross-platform portability

Once again, if you have anything you think needs to be done pronto, get it in quick as I'll be focusing on my other plugins for a bit!!

1 More thing if posible can the transform buttons be programed 4 transition is push left side switch to Side A and the right side the opposite??

As in video transition? That means you'd have to disable the video crossfader though for it to be practical wouldn't it?!

its 4 a personal way of mix video in some cases, i want the same as click the preview but whit the transform buttom, but its at you consideration, i thank u 4 you work

I get nothing when I install it. I can go to effects then to external devices I can see
the exponent but nothing els is there no setting or nothing. It still works like the default
setup

Hi Scott , ok installed all the widows gear and now i can see the options , a few things;

1. Can't see where i can choose between full and part from the "0" buttons on each side of the Xfader ?
2. Tonight before installing all this stuff neither the + or - for scrolling was working and neither were the lòeft to right arrows for the browser ?

any info will be greatly appreciated , thanks Paul
