How useful this would be to be able to scratch BLUE/GREEN screen videos over running footage e.g. the word yeah spinning and being scratched but still being able to see the oposite decks footage behind it...

you can do this apply an effect such as text or webcam to one deck and have vdieo on the other and mix the two to the level u wish

No, I'm talking more on the lines on blue/green screen techniques where I can have someone head saying something in the foreground + able to scratch it with timecode CD/vinyl whilst somthing else is playing in background...
Far better looking than just a mixture of the two images super imposed on one another...

The luma key would be VERY useful for superimposing visual plugins over video - a lot of them use a black background, imagine being able to replace that with video!
