good morning gentlemen.
it\'s been a while since i came to this forum, but alas, school has ended for me, and i got integrated into the work force, and that means less time for me to fiddle.
but i managed to do a mix, my ninth installment of the Moonscape Collection. And here it is.

as usual i will offer a description of my mix.
i tried to mix more tipes of electronic music this time, instead of the usual dark progressive house. i found it to be a bit tedious to hear, so i tried to change it.
the mix starts with a beautiful track form Accadia, the vocal seem out of this world, it\'s a very mellow way to start. it goes into Deepsky\'s very clean and rhitmic Ghost. Then we get into the first peak of the mix, a collection of to tracks that are very dear to me. first is Kasey Taylor\'s Trapped, gracefully remixed by Chris Micali, who gives it a very dark tranced feel to it, the second track is Bass Society by Perry O\'neil and it provides the first climax of the mix, then we seamlessly go into Murat Uncu\'s Forever More to get things cool again.the part between Murat and Habersham is a bit dodgey form a technical point of view, but the track makes up for the mistake, as it is a gem of a track. the reggae funk sound of it will raise the hairs from the back of the head. at this point, the mix leaves the dark side of the progressive genre, to get into a more funkyfied side, with the likes of Paradise Rockers, and the electric sounds of Satoshi Tomiie\' Glow. Normally i wouldn\'t mix a comercial track into my mixes, but the remix of Pink Floyd\'s Another brick in the Wall is grand, and i also am a huge fan of Pink Floyd. Then we get into the second Climax of the mix, with Jaytech and Matt Rowan\'s Tomorow. Then we cool down again and take another trip into the darker side of the progressive this time with a more trancy fell, thanx to DT8 Project\'s Deeply dub mix of hold me till the end. we bump into mister Matt Rowan and Jaytech again, this time remixind the giant track from masters Starecase. First heard this track on Nick Warren\'s Global Undergorund Shanghai CD, but the remix is also quite cool. We finish the mix with none other than UNKLE, remixed by Way Out West, in order to finish on a high note.
So there it is. I hope u will download it and enjoy listening to it as much as i enjoyed makeing it.

The mix has to tell a story, but yours, unfortunately fails to do so. Please post more mixes, as you clearly have talent, (maybe the next John Carter is in the midts ;) ).

The only drawback is that you have to work on your technique. Especially during transitions between songs. VDJ tends to be dodgey during transitions. so u have to be careful that the beats are overlapping each other better. don't lock at the waveform, that's just a guide for you. grab the waveform and nudge it very slowly until you get rid of the overlapping mids and lows, that tend to amplify the sound in the worst manner possible. and then you end up with chips and bloated mids that ruin the transition.
Keep up the mixing, hope to hear great stuff form U soon.

Thanks for that Ice-Man. I just downloaded the tracks and mixed them with only ever hearing the short sample. I know "The Nighttrain" is totally out of place in this mix but as I was given it pre release thought I'd throw it in. I'm learning as only been doing this May this year.
