Can we please get a ShowXpress DMX plugin that works with VDJ 8 please???

He has his hands full man, I gave up a while ago. I appreciate the initial release, was hoping Don M would be interested.

Was reading the other day that Midi out (or something) of VDJ 8 is disabled. So people can't connect to other software. That may effect this plugin.

No proof or experience on this, but this may not even work until Atomix enables that.

I'm afraid you were misinformed - MIDI out is most definitely not disabled otherwise controllers with LEDs and displays wouldn't work and things like getting initial positions would be broken too.

This plugin doesn't even use MIDI though ;)

I did most likely misunderstand what I read. I thought I saw something about not being able to link with Abelton or something like that. I just assumed that maybe that would effect this plugin. Not worth digging up the tread... But what does this plugin use to communicate?

What the thread was reffering to is (I believe,I cant find it now) that some lighting controllers used a midi sequencer to sequence "scenes" for the lights,therefore they sync up via midi clock.and the dev team is ignoring the need for midi clock out imao....so can we get this implemented already?....whew!

Just checkin on this as well because it's what the club uses so the only thing id have to program are my cue points.

Really, really would love to use this instead of the other plugin for lighting.........

I can test out whatever you have??

It would be nice to use again. I have heard nothing back however and the team at TLC has not either. They are not super happy with us now... They wanted to make a Mac version and update it.
