Hi
You've posted in the wrong place, at the end of an unrelated thread. You should have made a new post in the general or maybe hardware forum.
Anyways, What you need to hook up your laptop (with VDJ) to your mixer is an audio interface. One with two stereo outputs will allow you to feed each VDJ deck to a separate input of the mixer, just like turntables or CD players.
However, you may be better off getting a USB DJ controller that has the audio interface built in. That way, you will also have hardware control of VDJ.
How much money are you prepared to throw at this?

Well if you go high end and get yourself a Pioneer DDJ-SZ it'll cost around $2000. At the other end of the scale the Numark Mixtrack Pro is around 1/10 of that.
Just have a browse around one of the online DJ stores.

I found this one, within budget to keep the wife happy, Numark MixTrack Pro 3 DJ Controller, your thoughts, it has the Logo Serato in the bottom right corner of the controller, isn't serato the other company some might say

Don't worry about the Serato logo. A lot of controllers have that, but they are still natively supported by VDJ.
Just check here http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ8%20Controllers.html you will see the Mixtrack Pro 3.
Besides, it provides the opportunity to install some backup DJ software. :-)

You don't need to repeat your post........and you have asked a support question in the wrong forum area.
From where exactly are you dragging? The VDJ browser? Your desktop?
Is the song a file on your hard drive or a Content Unlimited / Netsearch result?
Have you checked to make sure the song has not been moved or renamed?
What version of VDJ are you using? Is your computer Mac or PC?
