This was easy... CDG+MP3 over Flash in VDJRobot (no background, added music responding visualizations in background)

Yes but this shows me that i can not be to difficult to play them without background, so it must be possible to crate an plugin which can do that....

not sure, but use some files from my package, its one title from different producers, and some german title too

I showed you how Flash can handle CDG's. VDJ has an CDG filter inside the application, allowing it to read and display CDG data on the display. In short, VDJ developers should upgrade this CDG filter to make your dreams come true ;-) There is a way over Flash plugins, but then you'll have to load CDG songs over plugins, and I think this is not what you've been asking for. But, I've had some extra time and played around. Good luck...

I am thinking if these free softwares can do it. it should be simple. I am no programmer tho. I did hear reaserching this years ago the background in most CDG files is set in one line so the pluggin sould see the line of program say "background color XXX" and change to "background color Clear" once again i am not a programer as you can see but that is how I think it was explained to me years ogo.
VDJ Rocks for karaoke this pluggin would put it over the top!
